US Birth Rates Rise

The US government has released the most recent national statistics on birth rates. After reviewing nearly 99% of all birth records in 2007, the total number of births rose to 4,317,119, the highest number of births ever registered in the United States in a single year. As well, the number of children born to unmarried mothers rose significantly. The estimated 1,714,643 babies born to unmarried women in 2007 accounted for 39.7 % of all total births in the country. In addition the number of cesarean deliveries increased for an eleventh consecutive year.

4 in 10 children are coming into our world with a mom and no committed dad. A simple definition of manliness is ” provide and protect”. Not that women can’t, but it is a man’s primary traits. (men can nurture too like women can, but its not men’s primary trait)Men anbd women have their roles. So children are deprived and women are deprived and men just have sex. Good grief! 40% of all babies born could mean 40% of all men have no idea how to be a man beyond procreating. Sad because the cycle will just repeat itself with single moms raising up more young men and women in the same pattern. Think about it–being a single parent is difficult. Being a married parent is almost always a better life for everyone.
