Insurance Companies Should Not Make Money On My Health

I found a great cartoon that clearly, in my opinion, depicts why we need a health care system that is devoid of for-profit insurance companies. I’d like to share it with you.

    Hello There,
I lost my job after 17 years and lost my Health insurance. I recently did get a job with health insurance but I can’t get it until three months of working and have to pay a lot for it. To make a long story short, I didn’t have health insurance for two in a half years because I couldn’t find a job. My son also lost his and he is 16 years old. He lost his when he was 13 years old. As of this date he does not have health insurance because CHIP said that Les, (Daniel’s father)don’t make enough money to be on CHIP. That Daniel (my son), has to be on MEDICAID.
BY the way my son is no longer living with me because I could not afford to keep him.
