WHO Not Recommending Travel Restrictions

An official statement from the World Health Organization this week has deemed travel restrictions unecessary during the current H1N1 flu outbreak, but rather, efforts should focus on preventative measures. Because influenza A (H1N1) has already been confirmed throughout many parts of the world, limiting travel would not be effective against the spread of the disease since influenza can spread rapidly from person to person, even before the onset of symptoms. Historical records of past influenza pandemics, including SARS, have validated this point. The best thing travelers can do is to maintain vigilance with hygiene and delay travel plans if they are feeling ill.

    my name is trina campbell I am being tested for breast cancer im 48 my sister age 50 has had a recent masectamy and being tested on the other side. I had to get an mri but had no insurance and then iheard of the susan g. komen breast cancer foundations a right to life program and was able to get both breast done .thank you susan g. komen with your program your saving lives I thank you with all my heart. trina campbell
